Hello lovelies! So I don't know about you but anytime I decide to buy a new make up product I will always read reviews by other beauty bloggers. I appreciate it so much when they write a review on products they've tried. I find it very helpful so I hope to do the same with products that I have tried.
- Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (Waterproof)
I've had my eye on this mascara for AGES I tell you. Just never got around to buying it but I finally caved in and got myself one. Pretty sure you can get this at almost any pharmacy which carries Maybelline. I got mine at guardian and it retails for RM 39.90 but they had a sale going on so got mine for RM27.90 I believe. Saved over 10 bucks there so keep that in mind when purchasing at pharmacies.
My thoughts. I really like this mascara guys! I got mine in the shade black. This mascara is waterproof which is great considering the Malaysian weather. It claims that it is suitable for contact lens wearers which is great. It lengthens and curls my lashes beautifully and lasts for hours without reapplying. Its not clumpy whatsoever unless you keep on layering. I usually only apply one coat because I prefer my lashes to look more natural. The bristle makes it easy to apply and separates the lashes well. Love love love <3
- Maybelline Eye+Lip Makeup Remover
In conjunction with the mascara, of course I needed a makeup remover that removes waterproof make up. Before I got this one, I used makeup removing tissues simply because it was convenient. However, sadly it doesn't remove the mascara very well. It always leaves some residue behind and there will be chunky bits left on my lashes which is not a very nice feeling. So I thought its only right to get a new makeup remover and so i settled for this one. I got this for RM 23.80 which is reasonably priced in my opinion especially for how much product you get.
My thoughts. It removes the mascara like a dream! I poured some onto a cotton pad and pressed lightly on my eyes then wiped it off. I didn't have to rub my eyes until it hurt like I did before lol. It came off super easily and left nothing behind. It didn't sting my eye at all either which is AMAZING! If you have sensitive eyes, you'd love this.
All in all, I highly recommend both of these products. They're a drugstore brand which means you can get them easily and they're reasonably priced. If you've tried one of both of them do leave your thoughts in the comments. I'd love to know what you think. Till next time!
